BC HORSE ANGELS

Creating alternatives to slaughter for BC horses.

The kill buyer was bidding on Savana at the Kamloops auction, but BC Horse Angels won the bid.

Despite being severely underweight, Savana delivered a healthy filly a week later.

Yes, pregnant mares are slaughtered for human consumption.

Savana was feral, but has completely accepted humans in her herd and become a gentle, kind horse.

Bunny, her filly, is absolutely stunning and follows people around like a dog.

Both are healthy and thriving and will be available for adoption in the future.

Savana and Bunny are also examples of the exceptional bloodlines of BC’s feral horses.

Thank you for your continued support.  Your kindness is transforming the lives of B.C. horses and advancing the effort to end the slaughter of horses in Canada for human consumption.
